The Hartford Room only suits short guests, leaving tall people discomforted by low ceilings!!! the lack of small touches in communal areas missed the mark, feeling overwhelmingly bare despite the potential charm!!!

Not exactly what I expected

The attention to detail was remarkable, from the luxurious decor to the cozy ambiance, leaving me genuinely impressed with the high-end feel of the room. Breakfast options were varied and beautifully cooked.

The absence of small touches like biscuits for tea and coffee was a missed opportunity for added hospitality. Although the room was exquisite, the lack of ambiance in communal areas was noticeable.

The misadvertised room was a total disappointment. advertised hot tub was an extra £25—surely a mistake? and the owner ’not present’ upon check-in was completely unacceptable. i expected a complimentary gesture to compensate for these inconveniences but was met with an unimpressive alternative. what a shame, i almost left a good review but just couldn’t.

Had an amazing trip with friends! The place felt like home, and the rooms were beautifully designed. We enjoyed lovely breakfasts, especially the poached eggs. We took a beautiful stroll through the meadow to the Axe and Compass, a perfect spot for drinks. Highly recommend it!

i had a wonderful stay at eagle mill, surpassing my previous experiences in huntingdon. the room was impeccably styled, featuring a luxurious free-standing bath and lovely amenities like a mini fridge. the breakfast was outstanding, with locally sourced ingredients and beautifully presented options.

a small snack with tea would be nice.

The view from the Standard Double Room was a highlight, with beautiful gardens enhancing the stay. Thoughtful touches included make-up wipes and bathrobes. Breakfast was delightful, offering a well-prepared selection that made mornings enjoyable. the communal areas felt a bit bare, missing small cozy touches that could elevate the atmosphere. a minor hiccup occurred with the breakfast ordering process that could be improved.

What a lovely stay! I absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere and the gorgeous breakfast spread that was simply irresistible. The underfloor heating in my room was a luxurious touch that made me feel so comfortable, though the noise from nearby traffic was a bit distracting. I'd definitely come back for another visit!

Just a good pick for a weekend breather in Huntingdon with great value for money. The huge bi-fold doors leading to a private patio were perfect for enjoying the sunshine and relaxing. Make sure to try the poached eggs for breakfast. they're the best around.

The room was spacious and had a huge king-sized bed, perfect for lounging. I loved the large en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and heated floors. Breakfast was made with fresh, local produce, and the coffee machine was a nice touch. Enjoyed the private patio too, perfect for relaxation while watching the garden views.
